Two roommates. One painful problem. One meaningful mission.
FingertipSplint.com was not born inside a corporate boardroom. It started with friendship, real pain, medical understanding, and a desire to help people around the world.
What began as a simple conversation between two roommates later became a brand built on care, research, innovation, and the hope of making recovery easier for others.
Where it all began
Years ago, at Anhui Medical University in Hefei, China, two roommates were studying medicine and building dreams for the future. One was Aqdas, from India, with a strong medical mindset and a passion for research. The other was Muhammad Huzaifa, from Pakistan, a tech-driven thinker who loved problem solving, digital systems, and product design. At the time, they were simply students, friends, and roommates. They did not know that one day their journey would lead to building FingertipSplint.com together.
The moment that changed everything
One day, Aqdas shared a personal struggle with Huzaifa. He was dealing with the discomfort and frustration of mallet finger. Something as simple as writing had become painful. A small finger injury may look minor from the outside, but for the person living with it, even daily tasks can become exhausting, irritating, and emotionally draining.
That conversation was honest and deeply human. It was not just about pain in a finger. It was about how many people silently struggle with hand and finger injuries while trying to continue their studies, jobs, routines, and responsibilities.
Huzaifa listened carefully. Instead of treating it like a small issue, he saw a bigger purpose in it. He asked a simple but powerful question:
“Why not create something that can help not just one person — but people around the globe who need fingertip support and recovery?”
Two different strengths. One shared vision.
