Our Story
Two roommates. One finger injury. A simple idea to help others.
FingertipSplint.com didn’t start with a business plan. It started with a basketball game, a hurt finger, and a question that wouldn’t go away.
Where it started
Roommates and friends, long before they were founders.
Two people, two very different strengths — sharing the same room and the same curiosity about how to make things better.
The Medicine
Dr. Aqdas
A strong interest in medicine and research.
He understood how finger injuries happen, how they heal, and what people actually need during recovery.
The Technology
Dr. Huzaifa
The builder — drawn to technology and design.
He figured out how to make ideas work: the design, the systems, and the know-how to turn a thought into a real product.
The injury that sparked the idea
A hurt finger on the court — and a realization that stuck.
One day, Aqdas hurt his finger while playing basketball. He started using a finger splint, and as he recovered, something stood out to him.
The splint helped. But he realized how many people facing the same injury simply don’t know what to do — what a splint is, when to use one, or where to find a good one. A common, manageable injury often goes ignored or handled the wrong way. Not because people don’t care, but because they were never given the right information or the right product.
“If the solution was this simple, why was it so hard for people to access?”
From an idea to a plan
Aqdas brought the idea to Huzaifa — and it was a good fit.
